This describes my train of thought exactly as a solopreneur... And, yes, I agree that everything is worth it. It's so relieving to discover someone experiencing the same ups and downs as me (especially the downs). I enjoyed reading this; it's encouraging. Especially the advice on getting really solid on your "Why" for when trying times come.

Thank you for taking time to read and comment. I’m glad that you resonate. Many entrepreneurs tried to be strong and hesitant to share the challenges they had to go through. You are definitely not alone!

OMG you're describing my life here. And at the moment I'm thinking of quitting. I feel burnt out. What do you do now ? Have you stopped being an entrepreneur ?

Sorry to hear that you feel burnt out. Please take some time out for yourself, although I know it’s hard. To answer your question, I have since changed my business model. I no longer focus on it 100%. Instead I found a full time job and run the business on the side. I converted everything to digital assets so it’s easier to manage. I also don’t give myself the pressure to make it big. It’s now becoming my side hustle and I make some money on the side. I find this suits me better. I get to enjoy my “side hustle” a lot more than when I was running “a business” full time.

Oh crikey yes to all of this. Especially when you are dealing with another species who is struggling with anxiety! And trying to write and create content on top of that! Plus looking after a family ... it's HARD!

I’m lucky I don’t have a family to look after! I have so much respect to those who have to juggle with so many other obligations in life!

I have so much love to give this post. It shares the thought process we go through as Solopreneurs. The relatability was strong with this one. But you have to try it once in a life. At least to explore your potential. No one says to do it for your whole life but definitely, give it a try!

I totally agree, everyone should try to by a solopreneur. Of the digital kind, in particular.

When you do it online, you lower the risk and can also make it work part-time. But you don't lose the upside.

Depending on your skills completely it's the greatest self-improvement booster. If you never tried having a business you can't imagine how it is. It's like uncovering a hidden world where physics has different rules.

Exactly! You never know if you don’t try. And I also encourage people to keep trying because you learn something new everytime!

Yes. You just have to be open and receptive.

Yes, I do :)

Or at least that is what I feel right now. Thanks for sharing this!

Running a business is hard. But you will manage. And if one day you decide it’s not for you, it’s ok because you learn more about what makes you happy.
