I joined the Air Force in 2010. Since then I’ve seen the shift in turning it into a corporation that entices its members to be in the hustle and bustle of awards, promotions and ranking up. I got tired of it. This article resonates with me on a deep level and is exactly why I’m building my own business. Thanks for sharing! Just subscribed and happy to keep reading and learning!
This is a beautiful piece. I also want to build a startup (working on it already), a digital agency and have a team working with me. But I have no intention of being a solopreneur, but I’ve learnt a key thing from this post: make room for things I want to work on myself.
That every decision and direction comes with a reserve clause to allow yourself to change your mind when confronted with unanticipated obstacles or opportunities is a big takeaway for me.
Hello, Claudia, what is the difference between running a single-person startup as you've previously started and solopreneurship?
Well, I am somewhat suspicious about that Solopreneur Stack - in your post there are its aggressive ads but information is glaringly insufficient. That is, apart frrom your warm recommendation, which of course matters much, I can't see a reason to subscribe.
Sorry to critisizise, perhaps I have overlooked something.
I think that some people are just wired to be solopreneurs.
Not freelancers, selling their time to clients, not traditional business owners with expanding teams.
Just creative people working alone on their products and scaling through optimization and automation.
I totally agree - but it takes time to figure it out (at least in my case)

100% right - and it's a lot about finding things out on the go. you gotta try what works out and what doesn't.

thank you, Scott 🧡
