Another effective way of doing this is to offer a link to the a free version of your article from Medium that is hosted on your Substack. It further encourages people to give you their precious email address and allows those that don’t want to pay for Medium to read your article.
I normally put the link at the top of the article that way it appears on the free portion of the article that Medium shows non members before they read.
This is an interesting theory. Share my Substack link on medium so that my readers there get to be on my email list on Substack.
Then keep providing value on both Medium and Substack but, much more value to my email list on Substack because I can monetize it there. I'm I correct?
I thought we need to choose: Medium VS Substack, Substack VS Convert Kit, X VS Note. But we don't have to, we just need to find that fine art of repurposing content and flow between different platforms. Great reading.
