Agreed. Consistency is key. It's easy to get swept up in the get rich quick or slow growth, especially if you're not seeing results as soon as you'd like. There's so much pressure on social media to "keep up" or "ride the wave".

'Both of these income streams have humble beginnings but can be grown steadily with consistent effort and iteration.'

Yeah, consistency is key. Another important factor for both platforms is smart engagement, whereby we engage with others who also engage back and may even subscribe/follow, and who share their advice on how to grow and earn on those platforms.

Thank you. There is calm in what you have written, inspiring enough to work steadily towards hopes and dreams.

Thank you, David, for this wise counsel. The quick never lasts and the slow is too slow...but the steady is steady and sustaining. I think we all write to bare our souls and to hopefully help someone else find a path as well. Steady, I can do...day by day and step by step, just like life.

I am fortunate to not need to create an income but there is something about the goal of being a paid writer. I was pouring all my time into writing when I realised that if I wasn't living I wouldn't have anything to write about so I relaxed a bit and settled into the Steady as she goes mindset.

David, I have to agree with you. There was no false point you mentioned, and on top, you did it so elegantly and it was easy to follow.

With no consistency, there will be no improvement and a true feeling of success.

The progress is what makes one feel fulfilled.

How do you stay consistent?

Slowly but surely..thinking of what matters in terms of the value you are sharing rather than the numbers you want to make. Because numbers are just numbers, they change all the time. Value is an asset always appreciating!
