📣 This is our brand new roundup edition of The Solopreneur Stack! Each week, I’ll send you a selection of bite-size chunks of educational and informative solopreneur-related content. Every edition in July will be completely free; from August onwards, part of each post will be exclusively for paid members.
One of the biggest problems business owners and solopreneurs often have is converting followers into customers.
How do you get the habitual browsers to finally take the all-important leap and put money in your pocket?
Not solving that problem early on is why many businesses fail.
If they could solve it, however, their entire trajectory could change overnight. Small improvements, compounding over time, lead to big results.
The fastest way to make that happen is to understand exactly what your ideal client or customer is searching for.
Once you pinpoint precisely what their needs and desires are, you can start creating content that appeals to them, whether that’s on social media, through a blog, or via a search engine like YouTube.
Simple ways to understand what your ideal customer wants:
Run a short survey via email or through your socials
Create a series of very similar pieces of content with very different headlines and see which performs best
Share a list of ideals (eg. everything a great accommodation provides) and ask them what’s missing
Show them something you offer as a product or service and outright ask them what they think of it
Once you understand exactly what your followers want, you can tailor your content and messages to appeal to them more directly.
And followers who see you as the solution to their problem become customers.
