Peter Crouch is one of the most distinctive footballers you’re ever likely to see.
Standing at 6 feet 7 inches tall, he played as a striker for the likes of Tottenham Hotspur, Stoke City, and of course, Liverpool FC (the best club in the world, in case you hadn’t heard).
Crouch enjoyed a successful 18-year-long career in the Premier League before retiring in 2019. He’s become quite the TV commercial star since then.
‘Crouchy’ probably wouldn’t make it into very many Top 10 lists for strikers (no matter how surprisingly-good his footwork was), but he does top one list in particular. And if you’re a connoisseur of the beautiful game, you can undoubtedly guess what it is.
